Attention Maverick Bidders! The new cut off date and time for bidding has been set for Thursday, May 24, at 8:30 a.m. While we are still unsure of the date of our inaugural ride, we want to finalize our list of 72 successful bidders so we are ready to ride when the big day comes. Bidding will remain open until Thursday, May 24, at 8:30 a.m. Once bidding is closed, we will call all successful bidders to discuss details. All other details relating to the bidding remain the same. See you at Cedar Point!

Due to necessary, last minute repairs to Maverick, the inaugural ride on the new coaster scheduled for opening day, May 12, must be delayed until the ride is ready, possible early June. As soon as a firm opening day for Maverick is announced, a new deadline for bidding will be posted. In the meantime, bidding will stay open and any bid changes can be e-mailed to Red Cross officials as before.
