Your support of the American Red Cross helps us to provide the services listed below .  We welcome your support through a financial donation, volunteering of your time, or possibly taking part in one of the fund-raising events listed below.  The services listed in the left column are all services which Firelands Chapter delivers to the citizens of both Erie and Huron Counties.

Donations may be mailed to: American Red Cross, Firelands Chapter, 300 Central Ave. Sandusky, OH 44870.  Please make checks payable to the American Red Cross.  If you would like your donation to go towards any of the programs listed below, please note it on the Memo line of your check.  If you would like your donation to be used in Erie and Huron county, please note "for local chapter use."

Firelands Hero Awards

Our annual Firelands Hero Awards honors local citizens who have made our community a better place to live.  The Hero Awards raises funds for the Firelands Chapter through sponsoring a Hero and by purchasing tickets to the annual event which is held in late February or early March.  Please click on the Hero Awards link on our Home page for more information.

Cedar Point Inaugural Rides 

Be one of the first to ride Cedar Point's newest attraction!  Watch this space and log on to the Firelands Chapter homepage and read how you can bid for the right to be one of the first riders on opening day.

Miniature Golf Challenge

Join us at Cedar Point's Challenge Park in May  for our annual Miniature Golf Challenge!  This min-golf outing takes place each year on the Wednesday before opening day of Cedar Point.  Tee off time is 4:30PM with registration beginning at 4PM.  Here is how you can participate:

  • Teams of 4 can enter the challenge for $120 or individuals can enter for $30 each.  Individuals will be placed on a team.  Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams.  Many door prizes will be given away as well!

  • For those who wish to cheer on their favorite team instead of competing, a $5 purchase of three (3) raffle tickets will gain one complimentary admission to the event.  The lucky winner will receive an overnight stay at the  Hotel Breakers at Cedar Point, along with four (4) one-day passes to the amusement park.

  • You or your business can sponsor one of the 36 holes on the golf course for a $50 fee.  This professionally printed sign will give you great visibility during the event.
